just a couple ramblings...
i heard the MOST awesome cover of an old echo and the bunnyman song by
pavement on the radio tonight, does anyone know where it's from??? it's the
one that goes, "fate, up against your will, through the thick and thin, you
will wait until you give yourself to him." i can't remember what it's
called.
and while we're talking about movies, i didn't think 'fight club' was that
great, but i ended up seeing it twice cos i was drunk the first time and
didn't get the whole plot twist. i coulda lived w/o seeing it again though.
but i really really recommend 'three kings' if anyone wants to see a great
movie. not perfect, but really sharp and thought-provoking, and NOT a 'boy
movie' like everyone thinks. i give it extra props for actually having real
arab actors and not being a racist piece of shit like every other movie out
there w/ arabs in it.
for some actual modest mouse commentary, i still don't get the whole mp3
thing but my roommate helped me download some internet song player thing and
somehow it had 'night on the sun' on it...or in it...i guess i had tried to
download it before or something, whatever...ANYway, i loooove it. this is
on the japanese tour ep, yes? sorry if i should already know that. i
wonder if the new album will sound like that...if so i'm down.
