um, well, david bazan, if i remember correctly, is a very religious man.  i 
don't know if he is in fact homophobic, but if he is, this might have 
something to do with it.  not making alloances for it, mind you.  
eric matthews (ex-cardinal, now solo on sub pop) once made a statement he 
makes some of his friends uncomfortable because they're gay and they know he 
doesn't approve of their lifestyle or something to that extent.   oops.

as mentioned before, i'm not making allowances for it, but at the end of the 
day, if it's just their opinion and they don't go out of their way to express 
it, then, does it really matter?  i mean, yeah don't listen to rahowa, but 
otherwise, if it's a matter of an opinion that you can't confirm and the 
artist isn't going to confirm it for you, then, why not listen to the music?
