Yeah, but Malkmus is always saying things like that, and in a couple
months he'll probably change his mind - if he was even being serious to
begin with. It was probably just a joke because he knows the English
press is so rumor-mongering.

I think I've already mentioned this, but if any of you like NMH, go out
RIGHT NOW and get the Bright Eyes album -Letting Off the Happiness-.
It's loads better than NMH - and that's coming from someone that used to
think no band could top NMH at what they do.

And get this - the main guy (really, the only guy) in the band was
fucking 18 when he recorded it. You'll understand how stunning that
fact is once you hear it, especially the lyrics.

Oh yeah, and no music makes me horny, but good albums to have sex to
include:

Tricky -Pre-Millennium Tension-
My Bloody Valentine -Loveless-
anything by Spiritualized
Swans -Soundtracks for the Blind-
Flaming Lips -Hit to Death in the Future Head-
Slowdive -Souvlaki-
a mix tape of all the Bardo Pond and Hash Jar Tempo songs that are
droney and feature Isobel moaning

np:Hash Jar Tempo, "In the Cells of Walken's Corti" (mmmmmmmmm)
