I am sorry to hear that 120 minutes has joined the rest of MTV to become one huge commercialised blob that does little more than play uninterrupted reruns of Real World and Road Rules. I haven't watched 120 minutes since I could no longer stand to listen to Matt Pinfield but it used to be one of the few indie rock outlets a young boy from the suburbs had. I remember watching in awe my first Pixies video back at the end of the Kevin Seal days. And seeing Pavement play "Stop Breathin'" when they released Crooked Rain and were saving indie rock from the alternative monster. And having the surreal experience of watching my TA from my Morphology class in college host the show one week (None other than Greg Graffin of Bad Religion, he was a doctoral candidate in zoology at my school, I shit you not). Anyway this is a shame. However, if you have the cable technology, check out MTV2. I watched it a bit during an unemployed period last year. It had a great mix of indie and cheezy 80's videos. Very entertaining. Justin >god, 120 mins sucks. remember when this show used to play videos you > >couldn't >see any other time of day?) ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
