DAMIEN JURADO:
he is one brilliant musician. He never makes comments to his spirtual
upbringing. He writes DAMN GOOD songs, and is suuuuper cool.
He used to play in punk rock bands back in the day, and just decided to
write folk type songs. The guy is brilliant. And if his poster is on
someone's wall, well hello!@#$, SUB POP. They are the masters of publicity.
Their stuff goes everywhere.
Is that Damien's fault?
If you could have seen him at Bumbershoot 99 this year doing a cover of
Nirvan's "something in the way". People were like in tears. So moving.
