I made a point of congratulating Eric Judy about the Epic thing at the UW
show a couple weeks ago, because I think every artist in the world would
love to be able to make a living through their art, and if they finally
found a record deal they were comfortable with, more power to them. I
begrudge no band for signing...and if their album isn't as good as their
last ones, then so be it. I think they're very good musicians, and if I'm
right they should only get better over time, like my other favorite band,
Radiohead. If someone told me OK Computer was tripe because it was on a
major label, I'd kick their head (not really, I'm non-violent).
So...yeah. Tell your brother, whoever he is, he's in a really incredible
band.
