The Herbaliser's pretty sweet, if you like heavily jazz-tinged British
hip-hop/rap type stuff, umn...
Stuff out of Olympia/Seattle, like Dub Narcotic Sound System, Unwound,
Thrones (former Melvins bassist), 764-HERO, Hush Harbor, Heavenly, Iqu
(formerly icu), the Make Up (from D.C.), Land of the Loops...I'm drawing a
blank on decent local non-radio music, but I'll let you know when I think of
other stuff
Oh, yeah...and Sukpatch (I don't recall the label, but you can buy their
stuff through Sub Pop) is REALLY GOOD. So's Luna...they do a cover of
"everybody's talkin'" that I like a lot.
