i think it's about a man who follows his lover after
she leaves him and he sees her with another man. he's
hiding in the dark wet shadows of his own grief and he
knows now that everything he was afraid to believe is
true. he then gets so angry that all he can hear is
the roar of his seething blood in his ears. he is then
caught up in the ecstasy of killing her and when he is
finished all he can hear is his own heart beating in
the empty, shameful silence.
