Check the completed auctions, it's gone for nearly
double that. And the Sub Pop Singles Club 7" is still
picking up $20-30 each time it's up, despite the fact
that you can still obtain it. Hell, the Euro-Matador
7" gets $20+ despite the fact that it contains two
album tracks. People are just crazy for the original
sometimes. I don't agree with selling it for an
unjustly high price, but I also don't agree with Epic
Records preventing nearly everyone from getting it
because of licensing issues with the new songs (since
they were to be re-recorded... without Phil Ek???).
Something is only worth what someone will pay for it
(I learned that by "investing" in baseball cards in my
youth). I know I've paid too much for a record
before. But how to stop the eBay juggernaut?
