sweet jesus, i don't think i've such a fortunate week of film viewing....
the talented mr ripley: is all that and then some , it has all the intensity
and pace of a kerouac novel...by the end , you are just so caught up in it,
you can't help yr self...me, i am moving to the southern coast of italy
circa 1958-9....anyone wants to join me, let me know....i know this guy that
has a time machine in his bedroom, i have the black biker shorts necessary
for the trip,,,mmmkay....

magnolia: wow!!! movies are such a hard thing to really get pumped for ,
because its generally a 2 or (in this case 3 ) hour tour de force of sitting
and watching and trying to identify with the goings-on onscreen. in this
case, wow, it was just incredible....even tom cruise picks up his game and
puts it back to the lofty heights that he had set with cocktail....philip
seymour hoffman is undoubtedly our finest export...we should bottle him and
sell him to the french....all i know is that i never really cared for frogs,
and this film does nothing to change that...

so to sum up : 2 enthusiastic thumbs up yr bum!!!!!

matt (i just want a bit part in yr life)
