im determined from now on to have every email i send to this list at least have one waffle reference just becuase im really tired and it seems like a hilarious idea right now. but that was it for this one. i burned out quick... on to the point... Maybe what I thought I heard Wayne say is "Im looking forward to playing with him" as opposed to meeting him. But im positive he said something to this effect"Im looking forward to ________ him, I think he's a wierdo..." Actually let me recount my whole conversation with him: (paraphrased for my convience) Me: Hey Wayne wayne looks at me Me: great show man wayne: thanks Me: Hey, will you play "Bad Days" next time your here? Wayne: I'll try to Me: cool. I love that song. Hey, will you be touring with Built to Spill? Wayne: (now autographing some girls cigarrete box) I dont know, we tried to work something out but I dont think that guy wants to tour right now, but we might do a couple of new york shows or something. Im looking forward to ___him, I think he's a wierdo" Me: wow. that would be an awesome bill. Thanks for the great show. Wayne: thanks. hey, the band and I are going to the Waffle House to have some grits. Wanna come hang out with us?
