hi ... yeah, so, melissa, i'm with you on the "please let me know
about it before it's sold out" tip, as brought on by the recent
Elliott Smith in SF fiasco. From what I heard, it now only wasn't
advertised, but it wasn't even announced to the people who work
there, until the last last minute. I hate this about San Francisco
(and I imagine that people in other cities can commiserate) -- the
level of competition here for ANYTHING (housing, the opposite/same
sex, affordable clothes, tickets to your favorite _______ show) is so
high that if you hear about/get tickets to/move into anything coool,
it's a fucking fluke.

I realize there are a lot of people on this list, but could people
try to share lil' tidbits of info about upcoming events? Here, look,
I'll go first... as part of the Noise Pop feshta, Chrome (hard rock
heros?) is playing with the Champs (local metal/mathrock heros and
one of my favorite favorites) on the 19th (21st) of March at the
Great American Music Hall. You can get tickets on Ticketweb, and
it's worth a look.

Oh, and one last thing -- whoever has been cheating for me and
helping my "votes" as Modest Mouse Princess... uh, thanks, but I
think I'll kill myself if I win, so please stop. Vote for Morgan
instead. She's hot.
