Good deal. Thanks for the information. I should've just checked the
Suicide Squeeze page before inquiring on the list. Official release date
is March 28th.

It's my understanding that once in a while when bands are signed to
larger labels, their previous releases on smaller labels are, in one way or
another, blacklisted from re-release. If that were true, it would explain
why Suicide Squeeze was throwing this out just before Modest Mouse's first
release on Epic. It was merely an assumption on my part since the timing
of these re-release is conspicuous.

Not sure if I detect sarcasm or not. Either way, it's a *good*
annoyance. Now I can remake the CD with three CD-quality tracks to replace
the three poppy, hissy, metallic vinyl tracks.

I think the songs are amazing, and I think the vinyl sounds fine when
played on a turntable. It just seems that vinyl loses some of its audio
quality when converted to an .mp3 or .wav, which may be more attributed to
my bad encoding skills than the vinyl itself. Besides, I don't have a
turntable player in my car :)
Either which way you look at it, I'm excited about the release.
