No, Morrissey does not have a new album out.
Actually, he doesn't have a record deal right now.
He has a management team who got him a few big shows last fall, including the
Coachella festival, all of which went fanatically well, so now he's touring. My guess
is that this tour is his main source of income for this year, and that is why he is
charging so much.He is also playing rather classy places, i believe. Certainly not
small band bars, at least.
Plus, most of us will pay it, because seeing Morrissey live just seems to make
EVERYONE cry.
