Dont buy gas on these days as an effort to lower ridiculous gas

yeah..cause the last one did so much. I'm all for fighting the power, and
what not, but market demand pressures will eventually force the oil prices
back down to reasonable levels, a gas strike will not. As long as one
geographic portion of world controls so much of such a precious recourse,
fluxuations like this are inevitable. If you want to have any kind of
impact on market forces, stop using gas, don't stop buying it in spits and
spurts, you just end up looking silly.
