hey -
someone on here tried to refer people to a website to get himself (and the 
respondents) free DSL access.  then someone (i'm pretty sure it was on this 
list) told him it was a scam and warned us all about it. . .but i don't 
remember in what way it was a scam.  anyway, a friend of mine was looking 
into trying out their offer, and i was going to warn him against it, when 
suddenly.  .  .i couldn't remember why.  can the aforementioned party 
re-educate me on this matter?
