i really dont care about any of this

as well as hurting the mouse and their profits,
you might be hurting yourself.
off the top of my head this is the example i can think of ...
mobb deep's last album "murda muzik" was heavily bootlegged via the internet
and such. so heavily bootlegged infact, that the record company forced the
group to record new songs and put them in place of other songs on the album
just so the album would sell. this delayed the release of the album for
ages, and from what ive heard, the original version of the album(the
bootlegged one) was 10X better than the one actually released. i believe
this too, cos the album they released really sucks compared to their previous
two. i mean cmon, the songs "its mine" with nas, and the "quiet storm" remix
with lil' kim are obvious pleas for album sales.
record companies know when there are bootlegs out there. i'd hate for
something like this to happen to modest mouse.
geez, wait another month or two and support the group you so much love. and
if you do have a copy, keep it on the downlow, and maybe just share it with
yer friends.
