hello everyone. i'm a big fan of modest mouse.. i saw them in
minneapolis about a year and a half ago, and isaac picked me out
of the crowd and decided he wanted to talk to me, so after the
show we talked for a while and he gave me lots of stuff for free.
that was quite an interesting night.. anyway, i am over in
germany now and two nights ago i saw this great show here, a band
called Sunshine from the czech republic. i think they're from the
czech republic, anyway.. that's where there label is, altough
all their lyrics are in english. now this band isn't exactly like
modest mouse, but i just wanted to see if any of you out there have
heard them before. they seem to be fairly well known around here.
and their show was amazing. i would describe them as sort of a mix
between old nick cave and nation of ulysses.. and maybe a little
murder city devils, which is why i thought to write to this list.
see, when i saw modest mouse, murder city devils opened up for them.
you see the logic now? anyway, please let me know if you've heard
this band..
