Has anyone read his new book? I picked it up a few weeks ago because I simply buy everything he writes despite the recent downward trend in his writing, but I haven't even cracked it open yet. Has anyone made it through that one yet? I was flying through Girlfriend in a Coma at first, and I hit that resolution that began near the last 30 pages and just said, "Well, if this gets anymore predictable, I'll just write the sequel myself." Has he lost his touch? And when is David Foster Wallace putting out a new one? I read his McCain story in Rolling Stone, thoroughly entertaining. I need to read more books. I want to send a shout out to Leigh the Sailor, I almost called yr radio show this weekend but I left the number at work.
