OK already, I now know that everyone thinks the shirts are a good idea. Here are the guidelines: 1) I and many others think the design should be original and not a 7" cover. This does'nt mean you cant use clip art or photo copy something out of an old science book or something like that. By the way if you use a computer please avoid fonts that are named after food or places. Its just a pet peeve of mine. 2) All of the ideas for the shirt need to be mailed to me full sized as a black and white photo copy or computer print out. I cant afford to mail your original art back. To keep costs down the shirts will have one printed color, so all i need is black and white line art. If you want shading your going to have to do a dot screen that is pretty large. If you dont know how just do it continuous tone. 3) I will then post the designs on the web and people will vote by emailing me with the one they want to win (this keeps people from cheating (as much i guess) like on the hot boys and girls pages) After a set date in the future is met I will tell the list what design won. By then I will know about how much each one will cost and stuff like that. You will then email me again with your address, the size you want, and how many etc. When they are all printed then I will ask for you to send the modest sum of money and I'll mail them when I get the money. If you dont pay then I will email the list after awhile and give people a chance to get the left overs. 4) I am doing this to be nice and to get rid of stuff in my school locker ( yeah we have lockers in college) anyway this is why the printed color will vary. I will combine inks to make nice colors and stuff, but i can tell you now i have a ton of black and a ton of white. White can make all the other colors pastel or swirly. I'll just have fun. If you dont like the color you got maybe people on the list can trade later. OR if you gripe enough and I have some left I'll trade you but dont count on it. If there is a color you hate let me know ahead of time, but if you really dont care (please) just tell me to send you whatever and you will think thats cool. 5)Thanks for all the responses, this should be a fun project. I plan on hunting up some cheap, but neat colored shirts. There will probably be no black or white shirts. But maybe you could just say I would like a dark color or a light color. Or I hate pink send anything but pink. You know what im saying? I just want as little greif as possible. When I figure out dead lines and stuff I'll let you know more OK?
