> Running: > If i could run a goddamned quarter mile without puking, i would be into it. (smoke up, johnny.) The only time i've even ran in the recent past was from blood-thirsty cops in riot gear, dousing everyone with pepper spray like confetti on New Year's, at the WTO protests in Seattle last year. man..i have one question about this and one question only; what in the fucking hell were those cops thinking? > GO GREEN-VOTE FOR NADER YES! YES THIS IS SO AWESOME! SOMEONE ELSE IS SPREADING THE WORD... VOTE NADER, VOTE GORE, OR DON'T VOTE. why should you vote for nader? a) he's been around longer than bush has been snorting coke b) he has experience with our economy and is socially and economically responsible c) he is the epitome of ecopsychology and all the goodness that it stands for why should you vote for gore? he's not bush. the thing that irks me when people say "well, he hasn't done anything that he's said he's going to." WELL FUCK, HE'S A POLITICIAN! he can't really enforce his plans until he's in office and of course he lies, see previous sentence. but would you rather have a lying president who could get into office once he gets the job done, or a psychotic president who can't even speak coherent sentences? i rest my case. by the way, if the latter draws you more than the former..i pity you ;) here are some awesome sites that i recommend: http://www.greens.org (the green party site) http://www.michaelmoore.com (michael moore is awesome) http://www.thismodernworld.com (tom tomorrow: illustrations at their best ;)) ok, here's the problem. bush is first place in the polls (god knows why..people are dumb), then gore, then nader, then buchanan..but if people start paying attention to nader at the most vital of times, then that's gonna pull votes from gore which will give bush even more of a lead, UNLESS buchanan starts getting more attention..in which case that'd push bush down as well. i want nader to win, but bush can't win. he just can't. he's insane...i wish i could scream that from the sears tower, i mean if he leaves i think i might have to leave the country. the one thing that helps gore is that now he's been talking to john mccain. i didn't think it was possible for a republican to be a vice president for a democrat president (and vice versa) but maybe it is? god i hope so..mccain may not have the best views on things, but at least he's not insane. so anyway, keep these things in mind. i wish i could vote. - amy, the sad almost 16 year old ;)
