shows: the fireside, the metro, empty bottle, double door
(pick up the free magazine called new city for show
listings...these
are in most restaurant/store doorways)
record stores: reckless records seems to be a lot of people's
favorite
thrift stores: ragstock, land of the lost, belmont army surplus,
and i think
there are some in the wicker park area
the clark and belmont area has a lot of this stuff.... but i do not live in
the city, so other people might be able to give you more/better insight
