if you go to garage sales and thrift stores, you can find them every so
often very cheaply priced.
i found mine at a garage sale and hooked it up to my stereo...
and even if you do end up spending kind of a lot on a record player, it pays
off in the end because (at least at the store i frequent) records are
usually a lot cheaper than cds. $8 or $9 instead of $14
