Most notably, they collaborated with Modest Mouse for the _I Love
Metal!_ compilation, covering Slayer's "South of Heaven."
Califone are kind of hard to describe. Sometimes they're bluesy, but
mostly they have a sort of electronic, ambient sound.. pretty
mellow. Really nice stuff. I have their EP and it was certainly worth the
