I live in DC...a few blocks from both the 9:30 Club and the Black Cat.  Am 
definitely going to the shows on 5/23 &5/24.  

While you're in DC the best place to buy music (my opinion) is DCCD on 18th 
Street.  If you stop by there you might also want to check out a dive bar 
down the street called the Common Share.  ALL drinks are only $2 including 
top shelf mixers and guiness on tap.
