look all i have to say is that i am in medical school and we are taught that alcohol during pregnancy affects the baby. it has been medicallly proven and if you want details go to the database medline or Ovid and look up recent journal articles on the subject alcohol and birth defects (try cognition, mental capacity and yes immunological problems)...i think you will not question it again. Beer during birth...the baby is practically out and not developing anymore inside the mother...you figure it out. the end. Pam
