ummm... well I didn't exactly mean that they "discourage" it... Pavement is
my favorite band so I don't like to put them down, but the way SM likes to
stand there singing, with his hands on his hips... I mean, he's just sort of
a lazy performer. Bob/Mark/Westy all have a great time, but Spiral and SM
just never seem totally "into" it and that sort of rubs off on the crowd. Of
course, any time they decide to whip out "Conduit For Sale"/"Two
States"/"Stereo"/etc. it's a different story.
