Only a complete idiot would jump down your throat for that.  I'm not exactly
sure what "passive homophobia" means, if gay people scare you, or if you
look at homosexuality with a sense of derision, then you're homophobic.
Generally, when a guy calls another guy "gay" or "fag" they aren't calling
them jovial or equating them with a cigarette...people just don't understand
how much their usage of language relects their biases and pathologies.  As
is usually borne out in an incoherant, non-sensical rant such as Mr.
Stratton's.  Yes, you are most likely to be yourself when you're not
consciously processing what your "self" ought to be, as much as that might
suck.
