I went to the show on Saturday night in Seattle. Man I loved it. It was the
best show I've seen them do so far. It was great. The crowed was different
from what I've seen in the past. More variety. Not just indie rock kids. Of
course the crowed was all gay and had to start mashing and stuff. I didn't
think they were coming back for an encore. Isaac didn't seem to be having
the best night. He cut his finger on the first song and asked the audience
for Superglue. Cause he wanted to close up the cut. He finally got some.
Anyway, they left and the didn't seem to be coming back. The house lights
came on and the music started playing. That usually means SHOW IS OVER.
However, the crowed just wouldn't leave. Everyone was screaming for like
10min straight and the bouncer kept making hand signals to the back for them
to turn the music up and ALL the lights on. However, nobody was leaving. We
all wanted more. So they finally came back and played an amazing Cockroach.
MM never has do encores before. They probably think that's gay. I don't
blame them. However, I bet the Epic people make them do it now. Were any of
you out there on Saturday night in the Showbox???? I'm going to see Sunny
Day Real Estate there tomorrow night. It's going to be awesome. They're also
amazing live.
