i was just wondering why out of all the people that went to the picnic on this list, not one of you mentioned the awesome performance yo la tengo put on. it seriously brought tears to my eyes to see them perform and they ended up being the highlight of my show. unfortunately the mouse sucked something awful on sunday and i too wondered what the hell was up with isaac's sick ass holy shirt and to top it off i think he's been wearing the same damn pair of pants for two months now. someone get that boy a fashion magazine. jk, i love the mouse, but of the 8 times that i have seen them, this one was the most disappointing. other highlights include the tristeza kids (even though they are kind of boring to watch live), although not very fond of at the drive in cause i grew up with them and they were jerks to me, they put on a great performance and i must say that they stole the big hair thing from me (jk), i flipped back from built to spill and pedro the lion but it didn't make much difference cause bts drowned out the lion on quit a few songs. i totally loved the material that beck played and was really stoked and am now a bigger fan because of it. the blue man group made a mess of things but it was interesting no the less. i don't remember much else of what i saw cause there was a lot of shit there, sensefield is the worst band i have ever seen. oh yea, sam was great but i only caught the last few songs. in case none of you know who i am, i was wearing grey levi's, black converse, and a greyish black stripped levi's cowboy shirt, and i had huge hair. i did see some of you there. morgan, i was standing behind you for the mouse and some other people who i can't remember names right at this moment. i had fun, it was a great day, and next time i'm gonna make hotel reservations in advance cause sleeping in my car is mighty uncomfortable. this too long now so goodbye. jacob
