I hate people. explanation: I worked at the Warped Tour today. I was there with a radio station, and I couldn't believe how many wanna-be punk kids gave us shit for being "corporate." Did these morons not realize that the Warped Tour is now complete bullshit? In Boston it was sponsored by a local mainstream radio station for fuck's sake. Plus, all the shitty bands that played are radio-friendly rip offs of good bands. And some of them just fucking suck (bif naked). If I never see another pre-pubescent punk kid clutching a $25 concert ticket that was probably purchased by his parents (who probably work for a corporation) I'll be thrilled. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind fighting for a cause that you believe in. But these kids constantly contridict themselves.. I'm sure when their parents put dinner in front of them, they don't stop to bitch about where their parents got the money from. on the bright side: nofx was good. they're funny as hell. oh yeah, and green day set their drums on fire. no more complaining, mer. and thanks for the stickers again. some of us do appreciate it. we also like to say please and thank you.
