so many opportunities for college students, not to mention they have

Speaking as a Canadian, I would have to say that this is something I see
every day while looking at America from the outside. Anything that the US
doesn't do is bad. This, of course, is not the opinion of informed American
citizens, but unfortunately your media and politicians are the only ones who
ever get heard. I don 't go for the whole anti-America thing that seems to
be popular nowadays - America and Canada (and many other countries) are
equally wonderful places with equally wonderful citizens. Canada just has
better PR people.
