besides, i don't think gore is *that bad.* he may be boring (which he's
not, i've never thought that) but at least he's not a fucking COKE HEAD.
OH COME ON! hate bush if you want, but please, hate him for something
other than the one thing the media grabbed and shoved down our throats. so
what if the guy did a little nose candy back in the day? not only that,
it's just silly to form opinions based on what the media digs up and
eventually becomes jay leno monologue fodder. that's like dwelling on the
many gore-isms that people are always sending me. let me refresh your memory:
"I was recently on a tour of Latin America, and the only regret I have was
that I didn't study Latin harder in school so I could converse with those
people."
--Vice President Al Gore
"We are ready for any unforeseen event that may or may not occur."
--Vice President Al Gore, 9/22/97
so this means gore is dumb, right? it's just wrong that this stuff
subsumes one's character and prevents people from seeing the good or the
other bad that may exist within these guys. it's like remembering clinton
for blow jobs and dan quayle for 'potatoe.' now we've been taught that gore
is made of wood and bush is stupid and a coke fiend. but you are right,
americans are shallow when it comes to politics. disliking bush because
he's a 'COKEHEAD' is about as ridiculous as liking him because he's a real
'go-getter' like 'part of the football team!'
