actually the theory this girl was talking about was somewhat obvious, but
logical.  if a minority is voting for a third party candidate in a solid
state, then there's really not much to worry about.  however, if it's in a
swing state then by giving the third party the vote, that's one less vote
that could go to the better candidate of the two (bush and gore,
obviously).
as for gore being 'less of an asshole,' i'm glad that makes him a bad
candidate ;)  wank wank.
uhm..i'd be damn impressed and surprised if nader ever gets into office in
the US.  i look at it in two ways:  i'm sure it's easy for a lot of people
to blow off the election and vote for who they truly want to, but for the
people that have to pay the price, i'm sure that they feel a little
different on the subject.  the other way is that...with the attitude of my
former opinion, we'll never make any progress, which is true.  so i'm not
sure where i stand, and quite frankly i'm glad because i still have four
years to think this over until i'll be able to vote for my first president.
