Damn. You all nailed some of my top five words right
away. "Defenestrate" is not so much a favorite, but
more like a curiosity to me. Why did anyone need a
word for that?

Sassafras is a word so nice, Aerosmith has used it
twice in two different songs. You know those guys.
They like to write the "tounge-in-cheek" dirty songs
and require cool words that rhyme with "ass".

One of my other favorites in "discrepancy". And any
words that really sound like what they mean, i.e.
"moist". Who invented the moist towelette? Pure
fuckin' genious.

There's a skit from Kids in the Hall where a boss has
to talk to his employee because he uses the word
"ascertain" repeatedly, and it was annoying his
coworkers.

THE LAST STARFIGHTER
That was one of those movies I saw over and over again
on HBO when I was a kid. The last time I saw it, the
CG looked pretty good to me.

Do you all remember Clash of the Titans? Another HBO
favorite. The special effects on that movie don't
bother me as much as the stuff in "special ed" Star
Wars.

Midnight Madness has to be the movie I saw the most
[featuring a young Michael J. Fox]. No need for
computer graphics to pull off the kooky hijinks in
this flick. "Faggabeefy!"

ATDI. Featured artists, huh. I guess Grand Royal is
working overtime. The little guys are featured in the
latest SPIN mag. It's not a bad article--good
introduction to people not familiar with the band.
Interesting note: it totally omits the fact that they
were picked up by the major Den lable which later
folded. The article makes it appear as if GRoyal just
snatched the guys up fresh from indie-dom.

hmmmm. . . Did I miss anything?
