So....
What to say about last night's show?

Well I did get to meet Isaac. Yeah. It was as cool as one would think. He
is such a nice guy. I had met a girl and her younger sister and the last
modest mouse show in NYC at the Bowery who were very nice and we all sang
Neutral Milk Hotel with eachother between bands. Well this girl, Patti, is
without any doubt in my, their biggest fan. She has seen them 30 + times.
So in the time between the two shows she had become good friends the with the
band.
So I am on the line outside and I see her younger sister walking by on
cructhes and I recognize and she says hi and tells me that she got in an
accident two days after she got her license. Ouch.
Moving up three hours to when modest mouse where about to come, I'm at the
very front and all of a sudden someone taps my shoulder and pokes my nose and
it is none other than patti herself. Apparently, her sister had told her
that I was there and she went looking for me. She tells me that she saw them
in seatlle, eugene, all over the place. And that she is now friends with
Isaac. So the show goes on and rocks me like no other and then sadly ends.
Patti says goodbye and goes upstairs to find her sister and I go buy some
merchandise. While on that line, Isaac walks by and asks anyone if they have
seen Patti. Well of course my friend that she has and I say that she went
upstairs to find her sister. So then we go upstairs to say goodbye to her
sister and isaac comes over and starts talking to patti and she introduces me
to him. He said that he thought my hair was blond downstairs. Ha.

THE SHOW ITSELF
The bands rocked. All of them.

The crowd FUCKING sucked. Now of course this is not for every single person
who was there but all the people I was around were less than fun. Two people
cheered when the shins said they had only one more song, two (i think 12 year
old) girls behind us kept trying to sneak through us and get closer, some guy
grabbed my friend's hair for absolutely no reason, and the moshers. yes
MOSHERS. There is nothing wrong with moshing in my mind, its fine in the
correct context, not during all nite diner. I had thought that moshing was a
way to get out aggressions, hence the songs to mosh to needed some kind of
aggresssive content or feel to it, and all nite diner does not to seem to fit
that bill. Of course they moshed to nearly every song, and kept on bumping
into me. There were 4 people by us who were nice and polite and thats all.
Damed NYC crowd.

There were ticket scalpers, too. That struck me funny. And a really long
line to get in. I saw them in May and I got there late and walked in, and no
one was there. Very strange contrast to last night.

All in all, a night of good music is a good night.
