Nope. Nothing is dumping core. In fact, the ONLY error reported in the Apache logs is the one quoted, above. (Then, of course, there are several other errors as it goes up the call stack to my script itself, where it dies, and I get a 500 error in the browser). If the httpd process dumped core this early, I would expect to see "Document contained no data".
