I am running RedHat 7.2 and i'am without problems installing perl 5.6.1. I checked ther version and is 2.96. [root@hans images]# gcc --version 2.96 [root@hans images]# ¿Du you upgrade manually gcc ? May be can downgrade to 2.96 to test. Hans Poo
