I'm unable to get Apache sucessfully configured with these releases. I get the following error:

I forgot to say how exactly I arrived at this error. Here's my most recent foray after extracting mod_perl-1.28 and apache_1.3.27:
perl Makefile.PL APACHE_SRC=../apache_1.3.27/src DO_HTTPD=1 USE_APACI=1 EVERYTHING=1 APACHE_PREFIX=/usr/local/apache_1.3.27
I get the same error of I go the "flexible way." chris
