OK, I've started playing with template toolkit docs build system. This what I've got from using ttree script. This is very incomplete as I intend to try to adopt the docs build system used by TT.
http://www.apache.org/~stas/newsite/ The cool thing is that it uses a Splash library, where you can define and use nice widgets, change colors, etc. See http://www.template-toolkit.org/splash/ TT is very extensible and scalable, so I hope it'll be a good choice. I'm looking at its POD2 (HTML|PS|PDF) builder...
