Internet Contract Jobs Available


Site Systems is a Los Angeles-based Internet consultancy that works with
clients in the entertainment and hi-tech industries.  We are looking for
contractors to assist with current and future projects (including
Internet/intranet, systems integration, web development/consulting, and
database development with NT and Unix-based systems) in the following areas:


·       Unix-based web developer
We are looking for contract, part-time, and full-time developers with solid
experience in dynamic, database driven, Unix-based web sites. Requires a
thorough knowledge of HTML, CGI, Perl, JavaScript, Java, C/C++, and SQL
(mSQL, mySQL, MSSQL, Oracle). Must be completely proficient in Unix/Linux
and Apache. Must know database theory. NT development experience a plus.


·       NT-based web database developer
We are looking for contract and part-time developers with solid experience
in dynamic, database driven, NT-based web sites. Requires a thorough
knowledge of HTML, ASP, VBScript, JavaScript, MSSQL, Access and Site Server.
Must know database theory. Knowledge of Oracle a plus.  


·       Web programmer
We are looking for contract and part-time UNIX & NT Based Web programmers
with extensive knowledge of HTML and JavaScript.  Proficient at programming
dynamic web pages in either ASP/VBScript or CGI/Perl/Java. SQL database
experience a plus.  Must know at least one of full-blown VB/PERL/JAVA/C++.
Web-specific programming examples a must.  


·       Web designer
We are looking for contract and part-time Web designers with solid
experience in interface and graphic design, page flow, graphical layout, and
managing the user experience.  Should also have extensive knowledge of HTML,
Photoshop, Illustrator.  Familiarity with JavaScript a plus.  Should also
know FrontPage, Golive, Dreamweaver or some other serious web editor tool.
Must be familiar with animators.  Experience with web structure and
web-specific versatility/formatting/design important.  Experience converting
and compressing for the web also important. Flash and Shockwave a plus. Must
have design examples (specifically on the web).
