You bet.  Take a look at Authen::Smb and Apache::AuthenSmb.  I am running
it on Linux (RedHat 6.0) and it works like a charm.  You will need to do a
lot of caching for your authentication, otherwise you can easily knock
over your NT [P|B]DC.  Memoize works well for this.
