As the problem with the non-PIC client libs also exists
for perl itself, I already _have_ compiled it this way.
As a result, sybase stuff is statically linked into my
perl binary right now. However, my perl installation tree
also includes
/opt/perl5/lib/site_perl/5.005/PA-RISC1.1/auto/Sybase/DBlib/DBlib.a,
which (I assume) has to be linked into my httpd somehow.
