You were right, the src version of make would not install.  I looked on Mandrake
disk 1 and the i586 version of make was on there and it installed without a hitch
and I found it on my system @ /usr/bin/make!!!  This will definitely help out.  Now
hopefully I can get Apache and mod_perl installed without too much more trouble.  I
am getting very familiar with these install procedures now.  Thanks all.
