I don't need to use anyone as a guinea pig and I don't need anybody to
demonstrate that the instructions work. I've wiped everything clean on my
servers and built everything from scratch so many times, that I can do it
all in 10 minutes with absolutely no problems. So I know the instructions
work.
Moreover, these steps were deduced with lot of discussions and experiments
among some of us on the list and is the result of hard work. There's no
doubt the instructions work.
And trust me, if you are writing such emails on the list, you're going to be
totally ignored by everybody on the list and soon will be blasted too. This
is a very very useful list with people with genuine interest and complete
dedication
and commitment to mod_perl. You don't want to misuse this. You
don't want to come to this list until you've done some home work and spent
atleast a couple of nights trying out some experiments, read some manuals,
browse the web, etc. And you don't want to talk about Perl basics like @INC
on this list.
You'll run the risk of being ignored by everybody when eventually you have
some real mod_perl-related issues.
Try getting the same help from Stronghold support.....you'll know how good
this list is.
RTFM. Get yourself some Perl book. Read Apache documentation. Read mod_perl
guide.
I don't know what you are doing, but don't think of proceeding any further
if you don't know the basics. This is for your own good.
