Since early 1997 Edmund Mergl has been developing and maintaining Apache::DBI. I would think that it's now one of the most used Apache related modules (and one of the most stable!)
In the last almost 3 years only two bugs has been found. Edmund no longer has time to make releases and such, so I fixed the last bug and made a new release which is available on CPAN.
