We built our own Perl 5.8.0, as well as Perl 5.6.1. We had different problems with 5.6.1. > That was a BIG jump from 1.15 to 1.27 and 5.004 to 5.8 !!! > My advice would be to try to take smaller steps in future. We follow the adage of: If it ain't broke, don't fix it. We finally had a couple of free hours and decided to upgrade, to get all the security issues fixed, etc. However, seems we keep running into problems. Thanks for the insights. Any other suggestions?
