I'm unable to get Apache sucessfully configured with these releases. I get the following error:

======== Error Output for sanity check ========
cd ..; gcc -DSOLARIS2=280 -DMOD_PERL -DUSE_PERL_SSI -B/usr/ccs/bin -D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -DNO_DL_NEEDED -B/usr/ccs/bin -D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 `./apaci` -I. -I/utilnsg_solaris/perl5.8.0/lib/5.8.0/sun4-solaris/CORE -o helpers/dummy helpers/dummy.c -lsocket -lnsl -lpthread -W1,-E -L/usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/sparc-sun-solaris2.8/2.95.3 /utilnsg_solaris/perl5.8.0/lib/5.8.0/sun4-solaris/auto/DynaLoader/DynaLoader.a -L/utilnsg_solaris/perl5.8.0/lib/5.8.0/sun4-solaris/CORE -lperl -lsocket -lnsl -ldl -lm -lc
cc1: error: unrecognized option `-W1,-E'
make: *** [dummy] Error 1

I have my path set to look at gcc and binutils 2.14. But it's still trying to use /usr/ccs/bin for ar and ld. I do not have the Sun ANSI compiler. I've looked high and low and read about various issues with the GNU stuff, but haven't seen this particular error recounted.

Any help is greatly appreciated. chris
