I am running Apache 2.0.40. The problem is that I am trying to compile some code that checks to see if mod_perl 1.99 is installed with the statement "use mod_perl 1.99;". This fails, even though I have installed the mod_perl 1.99 RPM and I am running a version of Apache 2.
Clearly, Perl thinks I am still running mod_perl 1.29. How can I dissuade of this notion?
