Try running 'make test' immediately after you get this hang. I had a
similar issue with apache 2.0.54/mod_perl 2.0.0 (RC5/RC6/Release) on
CentOS 4 with no other Apache installed/running. I wasn't able to
figure out why the first test run hangs (everything looks like it should
be working). The second test run has no problems.
